Most of you know of my professional background in the practice of mindfulness and happiness so this probably isn't a surprise to you but I do hope that I can spread some happiness and help create some memories around the world with something Dave and I have been planning in anticipation of the current happenings and temporary changes. We feel this is an opportunity not a crisis, or a need to panic but a chance to bond and connect with our 4 teens!

Oh Holy....Christmas Decor! I've just achieved my new PR for the number of trees and homes I'm decorating for this Christmas season. While #8 & #9  (our homes in Omaha, NE  and Johnston, IA.) will be the last to be adorned, I have spread out my decorating projects so as not to be totes OVER IT before I get our personal homes completed. Last year did me in! Live and learn, right?

I have to admit, this one is always a favorite. For the past 3 years Restoration Harmony have been invited to design a room at the historic Salisbury House and Gardens in Des Moines, IA for their annual Holy and Ivy tour.
